Book Review: DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

Yesterday I finished Down the Rabbit Hole, a great mystery novel by Peter Abrahams. This book is the first in a mystery series.

In this story, a girl named Ingrid finds herself caught up in a murder mystery that only she can truly solve. As well as trying to solve the mystery, Ingrid has to deal with her horrible math teacher, an unexpected relationship with a guy Joey, Joey's father, who happens to be the police chief of the town, soccer games, her brother's football reputation, and auditioning for the play Alice In Wonderland. There's a surprising twist at the end that I totally didn't expect, but it is sort of unrealistic. This book is both witty and suspenseful, and will keep you hooked until the very last page. I can't wait to read the next one!

Rating: :0) :0) :0) :0) 4 out of 5 smileys. I give it this rating because the ending was not very realistic. In real life, Ingrid would probably end up getting punished more than she does in the book. Still, it was an awesome read.

Would I recommend it to a friend?: Yes, one who likes mysteries.

Hugs,
Aceba
